DENTAL AIDE

Brief Description

​

Trainees pursuing this skill are trained under the direct supervision of a dentist or higher-level dental employee.   They also seat and prepare patients for examination or treatment;  assist the dentist during the examination and treatment of patients who are present at oral surgical procedures; sterilize instruments and maintain a sterile environment; take and record vital signs as directed and assist in charting oral cavity.
