JUNIOR LIFE PROGRAMME
SERVOL’s Junior Life Programme was established in April 1994. The programme was born out of the need to fill an educational gap between the primary and secondary school system for students who scored below 30% in the Common Entrance Examination (now known as the Secondary Entrance Assessment (SEA) Examination).
It is against this background and besieged by concerned parents that SERVOL approached the Ministry of Education with a proposal to establish the Junior Life Centres. SERVOL, with the assistance from the Ministry of Education set up 10 Junior Life Centres throughout Trinidad.
Improve Literacy and Numeracy Levels.
This is achieved through a strong holistic educational programme built around the S.P.I.C.E.S. curriculum:
Students that enter our Junior Life Progamme do so via the Ministry of Education.
Students who complete the Junior Life Programme move on to our Adolescent Development Programme (ADP), and then Skill Training.
Our centres are located in Arima, Barataria, Freeport, La Romaine, Laventille, Mayaro, St. Ann’s/Cascade, Sangre Grande, San Juan, and Pt. Fortin.
