Brief Course Description
Trainees pursuing this skill will be taught to bathe and dress patients; serve meals and assist the patient to eat; take vitals; turn/reposition bedridden patients; lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
Answer patient calls; provide and empty bed pans; clean and sanitize patient areas; change bed linen; deal with body and oral hygiene, administer medication; check records, clean and tidy patients' rooms.
